A solar light a must have for anyone in this day and age. If you really want to cut down and save energy invest in solar lights. This solar light from SMADZ is equipped with a motion sensor. This solar motion  sensor wall light is actually really nicer than expected. Installation is easy  It comes with two screws to attach it to the wall. According to the material you may need a hand drill and appropriate screws  The side of our house is made out of vinyl so it was easy to hand screw it in .  It is recommended that the panel is charged in direct sunlight for 24 hours.. Light is supposed to remain lit up to 18 hours even on cloudy days. I am unsure what the full life is but I do know that it last all night from disk till down. We only have one and have placed it in our back yard over our Storage shelving unit.  It stays lit, once there is any movement in the area the light gets brighter.  We would be investing in more of them to light up the remainder of the backyard wall and the of the house
