I use this mattress protector on my daughter's queen size 9" thick mattress. It covers the whole mattress and fits perfectly. Some mattress covers don't fit to right and are too small.
My biggest concern is her wetting the bed. We had the plastic or vinyl material kind, which she dreaded. Every time she moved it can be heard many feet away.
