Reading Kingdom Review

Hey hey, a quick insight into my family and me.

I am Alexann, I have 2 daughters. Dafi who is 13 and Tay who is 5. I have been homeschooling Dafi since she was 7 years old in 3rd grade. I started teaching Dafi the basics when 2 years old. By the time she was 4 years, she was able to say and identify her alphabet and numbers to 100 in order forward and backward. She was able to write, read and spell many words. When she began Pre-K she was advanced, ahead of most of the kids.

 
As Dafina went through the brick and mortar school system teachers complained that she was taking to long to finish her work, she was easily distracted and was a distraction. In 3rd the school wanted to keep her back so we decided to homeschool her full time. 

Dafi is going to be 14 years old in December and is going into the 9th grade.

Now on to Mataya, she will be 6 in September. I have not given Tay the educational attention that I had given Dafi. Due to my health Tay had been neglected in my opinion. Over the years was able to teach Tay her alphabet, her numbers 0-20, letter recognition, and recently writing. 

Unlike with Dafi, I haven't spent the time to read and teach Tay to read. It has been a month since Tay has started reading Kingdom. She has learned to spell, write, and recognize the words in the "at" family. Reading Kingdom so far has been able to teach her words like "the, more, girls, kids, some, pets, boys, and eat". the Reading Kingdom is teaching through a series of games which she enjoys very much. 

I like that I can track her progress and allow her to replay any failed areas. Reading Kingdom has made learning extremely fun, Mataya asks to play every day. 

I highly recommend this program to add to any curriculum to help your child learn to read fun and fast.
